November 27th, 2023: NPS@ updated (see NEWS).

When you read in NPS@ the sentence "Paste protein/nucleotide sequences in Pearson/Fasta format below" or the sentence "Upload your own Pearson/FASTA file" you have to paste or upload sequences with the format indicated below.

SEQUENCE DATA :

All sequence names must be different !
Sequences must be in Pearson/FASTA format :

   >Sequence_identifier1 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   >Sequence_identifier2 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   ...

or in Pearson/FASTA single pipe format :

   >lcl|Sequence_identifier1 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   >lcl|Sequence_identifier2 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   ...

or in Pearson/FASTA double pipe format :

   >gnl|database_identifier|Sequence_identifier1 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   >gnl|database_identifier|Sequence_identifier2 comments_or_not
   (residues)
   ...
In this case NPS@ retrieve database_identifier and sequence_identifier.
If the database_identifier is known by NPS@, a link on database will be proposed.
